On August 26th, there is this boat that is full of delicious craft beer and food and goes on a cruise out into Lake Michigan where lots of happy people drink, eat and watch the fireworks.  Yep.  Brought to you by Artisinal Imports, Allagash, Surly, and special guest Off Color, this awesome event is for real and we are honored to be a part of it.  On Thursday the 20th, we will be raffling off 2 tickets for this great event.  Show up between 7:00 and 10:00 and for every draft beer you purchase, you get a raffle ticket.  The tickets will be given away at 10:00.   Here is the dynamite tap lineup for the day:

The great Belgian style craft brewers from Chambly, Quebec take over with Trois Pistoles, Ephemere Cerise, Eau Benite and Raftman as well as our beer of the month, Blanche De Chambly.  Our old friend Karl  from Unibroue will be here to entertain and host and from 7:00 – 9:00 we will be giving away glassware for every Unibroue beer you buy. Beer start flowing at 5:00.  Oh, Canada.

Celebrate St Arnoldus, the patron saint of Belgian Beer who famously said to his congregation, “drink beer, not water” during a plague epidemic by joining in a very civilized pub crawl.  We start at Four Moon where we will be pouring De Proef Signature Ale (a Belgian Brett Pale Ale with American hops made in collaborattion with Tomme Arthur of Port Brewing and Lost Abbey in southern California), St Fueillen Belgian Coast IPA (a collaboration with Green Flash in San Diego) and Bokkor Cuvee Des Jacobin Rouge (arguably the best damn sour beer ever).  We drink here from 4:00-6:00.  There will be a limited amount of T-shirts.  Then off to Riverview from 6:00-8:00, and finally The Village Tap from 8:00-10:00.  Each bar will be serving different brews from the magical land of Belgium.  Join in any time and raise a glass or two to St Arnoldus.
