Goose Island Brewery made two beers brewed exclusively for Pitchfork Music Festival and we got ‘em. Forcone is a session ale hopped up with Amarillo hops and Run The Jewels is a collaboration between Goose Island and Killer Mike and El-P (who just released an album entitled Run The Jewels) which promises to be a big skunky IPA. Forcone will be served throughout the month, but on the 11th at 7:00, we will be tapping Run The Jewels as well as the new Fulton and Wood series Cucumbersome, a cucumber pilsner, and we will be raffling off a pair of tickets for the Pitchfork Music Fest for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Buy a Goose Island beer, get a ticket. Last pair of tickets will be given away at 10:00.

The South Tap Tower is taken over by New Holland Brewing and six of their Mad Hatter brews; White Hatter, Imperial Hatter, Black Hatter, Michigan Hatter, Rye Hatter and Farmhouse Hatter. We will also be pouring Hatter Royale which is New Holland’s hop infused whiskey and it’s silly hat contest time. Silliest hats will receive a fabulous prize. Everything starts when we open at 5:00. Hats will be judged up until sometime around 9:00 or 10:00.
