We’re kicking off the first weekend of Craft Beer Week with a tap tower full of Spiteful beer.  We’ll be pouring Malevolence Russian Imperial Stout, Bitter Biker Double IPA, Damn Pigeon Porter, GFY Stout, Instigator IPA, and Debbie Downer Dunkleweizen.  Taps start pouring at Noon and the Spiteful guys, Brad and Jason, will get here around 5:00.  Plus, at 6:00, we will be tapping a keg of 18th Street Brewery’s Hunter Milk Stout and the 18th Street folks will be around as well.  Come support our local brewers and their delicious beer.

To celebrate their 16th Anniversary, Two Brothers brewed a batch of specialty Belgian Style Golden Ale and we have a keg of it! So, to kick off Chicago Craft Beer Week, we’re tapping this 16% ABV monster.  Beer starts flowing at 5:00.  It’s only a six barrel, so get it while you can.

May 16, 2013 - May 25, 2013

Thursday, May 16th, through Saturday, May 25th, we’re celebrating Chicago Craft Beer Week with special events all through the 9 days with beers from local breweries like Spiteful, Half Acre, Revolution, 18th Street, Two Brothers, Solemn Oath, Ten Ninety, Local Option Bierwerkers, and Metropolitan as well as other great beer from some of our favorite breweries: Lagunitas, Founders, Allagash, Oskar Blues, Central Waters, Avery, and many more.  Check out our beer list throughout the “week” and check out the special events already set up.   Drink good beer!

Buy a Duvel, get a collectable painted art glass.  We only have 20 of them, so get here early.  One per customer, please.

Lagunitas brews their dankest double IPA to be drunk on 4/20 at 4:20 and so we will as we are lucky enough to get our hands on a barrel.  I know a guy.  So come on by and if you can’t get here until 4:25, we understand.
